As a law student, I joined BEST out of pure curiosity, and that curiosity grew into a passion that has lasted over two years. Thanks to BEST, I have grown as a person, learned countless things, broadened my horizons, and, most importantly, gained friends for life. After so much time spent in the organization, I realized what a privilege it is to be part of it, because the energy of everyone involved, in any city across Europe, is something that can’t be described, it has to be experienced.

BEST Novi Sad is the best “company” I’ve worked with, shaping both my career start and personal growth. I discovered my strengths and weaknesses, learned from ambitious colleagues, and developed key skills like responsibility, organization, and teamwork. I’ll always remember BEST for its energetic people, and my advice to future students is: don’t miss the opportunity to join!

For me, BEST was a place to escape from obligations, unleash my creativity, and build skills that university alone can’t offer, all with the support of a welcoming community. Organizing international seminars, working in teams, and meeting people across Europe gave me valuable experience, professional contacts, and confidence. I’ll remember it most for the people, energy, and friendships, so my advice is: Don’t hesitate! Join with an open heart and make the most of every opportunity.

I can confidently call BEST my “second family”. It is a place that enriched my studies through people, events, and the chance to travel across Europe. Through it all, I developed soft skills like stepping out of my comfort zone, time management, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and teamwork, which are invaluable to me today as a software engineer. In an atmosphere of mutual support, where everyone works together and you always have someone to rely on, every project becomes an unforgettable experience full of learning and new connections.

BEST has been a part of my life for the past two and a half years. Through it, I have been able to grow as a person, better understand and shape my character, and learn effective ways of communicating. I have met many amazing people and can confidently say that I have made friends for life. I am grateful for everything I have learned, and I know that my journey in BEST is a key part of who I am today and who I will become in the future.

For me, BEST is much more than a student organization. It’s a space where you grow, learn to take risks, make mistakes, and develop yourself alongside people who often become lifelong friends. It has given me experience, references, and confidence working with others, but most valuable are the relationships and opportunities that came through them. So don’t wait for the “right moment.” In BEST, you have nothing to lose and so much more to gain than you expect.
